Key Responsibilities
The NP Intensivist performs physical and psycho-social assessments, establishes medical diagnoses, and manages follow-up care for patients. They are also responsible for developing treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, and providing preventative healthcare and counseling.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a college degree as a Physician's Assistant from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school. Two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting focusing on diagnosis and treatment is preferred.
