Clinical Therapist, Behavioral Health Unit

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Therapist provides individual and group counseling services to patients within a behavioral health unit to assist them in achieving treatment goals. Responsibilities include assessing emotional conditions, developing treatment plans, and coordinating discharge planning for follow-up care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field and possess at least two years of behavioral health experience. A valid clinical license such as LCSW, LPC, LSATP, or LMFT from the Virginia Department of Health Professions is required.
