About the Role
Join U. S. Renal Care as a Advance Practitioner - Physician Services in United States. Under general supervision, provides independent medical care to patients with kidney disease Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with a physician
- Responsible for evaluating and assessing patients in outpatient clinic visits, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis visits.
- This position will travel to outreach clinics and satellite dialysis units.
- Utilizes professional skills in interviewing, assessment, evaluation, identification, and implementation of interventions/treatment plans based on the specific needs of each patient.
Requirements
- Certification/Licensure as a Physician's Assistant OR Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the state of Utah.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a medical provider with nephrology experience preferred. Successful Competency Factors:
- Knowledge of nephrology clinical care.
- Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
