Key Responsibilities
The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation treatments according to prescriptions and ensures patient safety through consistent departmental procedures. They also perform patient simulations, document treatment data in the EMR, and provide education to patients and their families.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree or technical certification in an ARRT-accredited Radiation Therapy program and possess ARRT (T) certification. A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiation Therapist is required.
