Endeavor Health is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, in Elmhurst, IL to join the team. - Full Time, outpatient (36 Patient care Hours & 4 Admin Hours)
- Call, split evenly
EMR: EPIC
Market Competitive Compensation range from $220,000- $366,000

What Will You Do
Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients to meet their medical needs
Educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and families
- Shares health care duties of patients with other physicians to always ensure the availability of a physician.
- Determines which referrals are required based on examination and patient needs
- Determines level of urgency of follow-up, referral/consultation appointments
- Exercises final medical judgment in all issues of health care
- Prescribes medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients
- Orders studies, test and ancillary services
- Documents all services in patient medical record
- Reviews on a regular basis long-term case that require ongoing medical attention
Consults with the Medical Director and other professionals on staff as needed regarding patient care, assessment, and education issues
Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs established by the hospital or clinic requirements
- Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staff
- Assists in the resolution of complaints, requests and inquiries from patients
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
Participates in teaching sessions for other hospital and medical staff, residents and/or medical students as assigned.
What You Will Need
License: Illinois Medical License or License Pending
Certification: The successful candidate for this position will have completed an Internal medicine residency and be board certified/eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive medical care, including patient examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and the ordering of diagnostic tests. Additionally, they will oversee clinical staff, participate in quality improvement programs, and maintain accurate patient medical records.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Illinois Medical License and have completed an Internal Medicine residency. Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine is required.
