As an organization led by and for people of color and survivors of violence, we care deeply about our team’s wellness. We offer unlimited PTO and flexible work schedules, a hybrid workplace, health benefits coverage up to 90% for staff and their families, a 403(b) retirement plan, a staff-led wellness committee, time to play and laugh together, and more.
We are a work in progress and welcome input from our team as we continue building an affirming and uplifting workplace.

Co-facilitate trauma-focused support groups and use evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), as appropriate.
Connect survivors with legal, mental health, parenting, bilingual, and other community resources through collaboration with internal and external partners.
Provide community education and workshops and represent VIP at meetings, conferences, task forces, and public events.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and program data, and support reporting, program evaluation, and quality improvement efforts.
Collaborate across VIP programs and within multidisciplinary teams to strengthen sexual violence services and ensure comprehensive, culturally responsive care.
