Key Responsibilities

The Registered Dietitian provides evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients as part of the clinical nutrition team. They are responsible for developing, implementing, and documenting nutritional care plans while counseling patients on dietary principles.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university with coursework approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Dietetics Education. Additionally, registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a valid Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license are required.
