Job Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) Home Health - PRN
Preferred Care Home Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team and provide quality, patient-centered care in the home setting.
What You’LL Do
- Evaluate patients’ functional abilities, including daily living and working skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care
- Help patients improve strength, coordination, range of motion, and independence
- Educate patients and families on therapy programs and adaptive equipment
- Communicate with physicians and members of the clinical team
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Participate in case conferences and other required agency activities
- Supervise OTAs as applicable
What We’RE Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current, active Florida OT license
- Minimum of 1 year of OT experience
- Home health experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a community-based caseload
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
