Job description

Key Responsibilities

* Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

* Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend appropriate diet and texture
modifications

* Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing
strategies

* Document evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory
requirements

* Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals

* Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

* Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies
