Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care to patients with complex medical conditions.
- Perform electrodiagnostic studies (EMG, nerve conduction studies) for diagnosis and management.
- Manage acute and chronic pain conditions using a multimodal approach.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
- Conduct daily patient rounds, manage medical comorbidities, and oversee discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation care, including daily patient rounds and the management of complex medical conditions. Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to oversee discharge planning and perform electrodiagnostic studies.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified Physiatrist with current BLS and ACLS certifications. Proficiency in EMG, nerve conduction studies, and acute/chronic pain management is required.
