Key Responsibilities
The Medical Social Worker collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to assess and address the psychosocial and practical needs of hospice patients and their families. They provide counseling, facilitate support groups, and ensure all services comply with Medicare regulations and professional standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master of Social Work degree and possess a current LCSW, LMSW, or CSWA license in Oregon. Experience in hospice or healthcare social work is preferred, along with strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
