About the Role

Join Commonwealth Medical Services as a Hospitalist Physician – Inpatient, Nights/Weekends in Dothan, Alabama, United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical management for adult patients admitted to the hospital

• Diagnose, treat, and monitor acute and chronic medical conditions

• Coordinate care with consulting specialists and ancillary services

• Manage admissions, daily rounding, and patient discharges

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program

• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine

• Unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in the practicing state

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.
