JOB SUMMARY: The Infusion Nurse Practitioner serves as the clinical lead and provider, managing specialized intravenous therapies while overseeing patient safety and day-to-day clinic operations DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care: Perform physical evaluations, record clinical notes, and supervise or administer complex IV infusions and injections. Reaction Management: Monitor patients for adverse reactions or toxicities and direct emergency response protocols. Care Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians to plan ongoing treatments. Education: Counsel patients and families on disease management, treatment expectations, and side effects. Compliance: Maintain accurate records in electronic health records (EHR) while upholding safety and regulatory guidelines.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and compliance standards. Ability to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Proficient in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address complex clinical and administrative issues. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Education: Master’s or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program. Licensure: Active, unrestricted NP and RN state licenses, plus current prescriptive authority and a DEA registration. Certification: National board certification through the AANP or ANCC (Family Nurse Practitioner or specialty-focused). Life Support: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or PALS often required depending on the clinical environment. Skills: Advanced clinical assessment, strong venous access capabilities, and familiarity with infusion pumps and EHR software PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, walk May be necessary to work extended hours as needed May lift and/or move up to 30 pounds The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days. Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses. Employees have the option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter for added financial flexibility. Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
