Provide individual and group mental health counseling and crisis intervention to inmates at the Nebraska State Penitentiary. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to assess risk, screen new inmates, and document treatment progression.
Requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and a valid Nebraska license or provisional license as a Mental Health Practitioner or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Candidates must pass a background check, medical exam, drug test, and complete the NE Corrections Training Program.
