Trauma Informed Care Counselor

Key Responsibilities

Provide crisis assessment and support to students and staff within a school-based setting to address trauma and safety concerns. Coordinate and facilitate trainings on resiliency, de-escalation, and mental health for district staff while serving on the School Based Threat Management Team.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work and active licensure in Social Work or Mental Health. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainer certification within six months.
