We are currently seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team at Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center located in Joliet, Illinois.
Available Schedules: Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:00pm (Saturday & Sunday Off) Monday through Friday; 12:00pm to 8:00pm (Saturday & Sunday Off) Tuesday through Saturday; 8:00am to 4:00pm (Sunday & Monday Off) Sunday through Thursday; 8:00am to 4:00pm (Friday & Saturday Off) The QMHP provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, case management, and providing individual and group therapy.
Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required Active Independent mental health professional license Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT required Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

The Qualified Mental Health Professional provides comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting, including assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. They also perform case management and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess an active Illinois license (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT). A minimum of two years of direct care experience with individuals with mental illness is preferred, along with current CPR/AED certification.
