Key Responsibilities

• Conducts alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions on a regular basis per state regulation, or as part of the individual treatment plan.

• Conducts group counseling sessions as required.

• Orients patients to the treatment program’s operation and procedures.

• Implements or revises patient treatment plans with the patient as required per state regulation and record a review of the patient’s progress according to BHG policy.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling or other social services.

• One year of experience dealing with substance abuse patients preferred.

• Must possess substance abuse certification.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
