About the Role
Join SCAN Health Insurance as a Behavioral Health Manager NP – Hybrid, Leadership Role in United States. Key Responsibilities
- Provide short term, evidence based behavioral health treatment to members, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and group interventions, and discharge/aftercare planning.
- Manage members with mild to severe mental illness, applying risk stratification and care intensity appropriate to clinical need.
- Develop and oversee individualized, whole person care plans aligned with evidence based guidelines, clinical best practices, and community standards.
- Provide behavioral health education and coaching to members, caregivers, and care teams, including psychosocial interventions and pharmacologic considerations.
Requirements
- Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve operational and performance challenges and to design new programs and care models.
- Partner across departments to integrate behavioral health seamlessly with primary care, case management, and pod based workflows.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support membership growth, quality outcomes, and long term program sustainability. Compliance & Professional Standards
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, regulatory, compliance, and documentation standards, completing all clinical and operational documentation accurately and timely.
