The social worker is responsible for planning and providing supportive psychosocial services to terminally ill patients and their families. This includes identifying needs and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement the hospice plan of care.
A Master's degree in social work and current Massachusetts social work licensure are required. Preference is given to candidates with a LICSW and at least three years of counseling experience with terminally ill populations.
