Job Description
Stealth Care Staffing is currently seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists (RTs) within an Acute Long Term Care Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio for 13-week night contract (7p-7a)!
Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
- Evaluating patient and recommends a treatment plan
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
- Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes/ trachs
- Performing timely and accurate documentation
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Teaching and counseling patients/families
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
- Must hold current Ohio license and be registered or certified (RT/CRT).
- Current in BLS, ACLS
- Ventilators, ABG, and EKG Experience
Required Experience
- Experience as an RT working within a hospital setting preferred
- Acute Care Experience Required
Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, recommending treatment plans, and providing critical respiratory care. They also perform procedures such as endotracheal tube insertion and removal while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a current Ohio license and be registered or certified as an RT/CRT. Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required, along with experience in an acute hospital setting.
