Job description
Join Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation as a Dental Hygienist – FQHC, Loan Repayment in City of Rochester, New York, United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of a recognized course in dental hygiene.
- Current Provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association and Infection Control Certification. Special Skills, Knowledge Required:
- Mastery of dental procedures and techniques.
- Skill in working with children and medically handicap.
Requirements
- Checks patient’s medical records and heeds precautions as indicated.
- Examines new patient’s mouth and reports any abnormality to doctor before proceeding with oral prophylaxis, followed by X-rays that may be required.
- Takes and process X-rays.
- Provides patients with topical fluoride treatments and application of sealants.
