Key Responsibilities
- Job Summary Ensures patients have coverage for their hospital stay.
- Obtain complex financial information regarding patients from various sources, notify insurance companies and assist with obtaining insurance authorizations.
- Secures payment for balances on inpatient and outpatient accounts.
Requirements
- Preferred High School Diploma or GED
- Required Experience 2 to 3 years of hospital registration/related field with customer service experience/insurance verification
- Preferred 1 year related experience
- Required Licenses and Certifications
