They are responsible for maintaining accurate medical records, educating patients, and referring them to emergency care when necessary.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree for Physician Assistants or a Master's degree for Nurse Practitioners, along with active state licensure. A minimum of one year of full-time experience in an Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care setting is required.
