We’re looking for a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Brevard clinic team—a collaborative, energetic group of pediatric clinicians who are passionate about providing exceptional care while building a career that is sustainable and fulfilling.

Here, you won’t be practicing in isolation.

You’ll work alongside SLPs, OTs, PTs, Psychology, and Behavioral Health clinicians who believe that children are best supported when we work together.

You’ll have your own clinical expertise, interests, and caseload—but you’ll also have a team to brainstorm with, celebrate with, learn from, and lean on.

And when you want to take therapy beyond the clinic, you’ll have opportunities to support children in the places where they live, learn, play, and connect.

As a pediatric SLP at Carolina Pediatric Therapy, you may work with children with a wide range of communication needs, including:

• Early language and communication
• Speech sound disorders
• Receptive and expressive language
• Social communication
• AAC
• Feeding and swallowing
• Fluency
• Childhood apraxia of speech
• Neurodevelopmental differences

And Other Pediatric Communication Needs

You’ll have the opportunity to develop individualized, functional goals and provide therapy that is meaningful to each child and family.

Depending on your interests and caseload, therapy may happen in our clinic or in natural environments such as homes, schools, and daycares.

• What You’ll Do

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, You Will

• Evaluate and treat children with a variety of communication needs
• Develop individualized, functional treatment plans
• Provide engaging, evidence-informed pediatric therapy
• Partner with caregivers and communication partners
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals when appropriate
• Support communication across everyday environments and routines
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide whole-child care
• Document services efficiently and thoughtfully
• Celebrate progress—both the big milestones and the tiny victories

Requirements

• Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• North Carolina SLP license or eligibility for NC licensure
• ASHA certification or eligibility
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Feeding experience is a plus
• AAC experience is a plus
