Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology BMT

Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing, coordinating, and assuring comprehensive medical care for the designated population, performing therapeutic and prescriptive measures, and assuming responsibilities delegated by the supervising physician. Responsibilities also include educating patients and families, evaluating treatment effectiveness, and coordinating clinical research studies or trials.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree, a current New York State Physician Assistant License, NCCPA Board Certification, and Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association. At least two years of clinical rotation experience is required, with previous Physician Assistant experience or fellowship preferred.
