Job Description
Genesis OBGYN, an affiliate of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our highly recognized and growing practice at Women's Medical Care located in Prescott, AZ.
We are looking to expand our practice to meet the community and are committed to providing patients with a superior level of care in a friendly and personalized environment.
The practice is dedicated to providing OBGYN healthcare to their patients, so this position would be 100% focused on women's healh (both obstetrics and gynecology)

Located only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Pheonix, AZ Metro Area (South) or Sedona/Flagstaff, AZ area (North) you can be hiking or skiing in the mountains or catching an international flight or concert in the city all within a short drive.
Position Highlights
- Joining a practice of 2 OBGYNs and 2 Nurse Practitioners
- Flexible Schedule in an Outpaitent Only setting(Options available for a 4 or 5 day work week.)
- No evenings, weekends or call responsibilities
Practice 100% women's health, including obstetrics (prenatal and post partum care) and gynecology (well women visits, contraseptive care, menepausal care and some procedures)
Daily Activities Include
- Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
- Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
- Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
- Fully licensed medical team and support staff

Requirements
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in Arizona or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
- One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
