Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Position Details As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia and related services to patients across the lifespan, working collaboratively with surgeons and the care team.
Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Administer and manage anesthesia throughout procedures, adjusting care based on the patient’s condition and needs. Monitor patients throughout anesthesia care and respond appropriately to changes in physiologic status.
Obtain informed consent for anesthesia services and communicate effectively with patients and the care team. Provide acute and chronic pain management services as appropriate. Safely administer, monitor, inventory, and dispose of medications. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Follow applicable clinical, regulatory, safety, infection prevention, and professional standards. Participate in quality improvement activities and evaluation of anesthesia services. Participate in clinical education and teaching as appropriate.
Maintain clinical knowledge and competency through continuing education and professional development. Maintain clinical privileges appropriate to education, experience, and demonstrated competency. Collaborate with leadership and the care team to ensure 24/7 CRNA coverage.
What You Offer Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Current Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and eligibility for ongoing recertification.
Meets Minnesota requirements for advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) licensure as a nurse anesthetist. Current clinical competency and continuing education consistent with CRNA certification requirements. Ability to participate in a flexible schedule, including off-site on-call coverage.

Full-time, 80 hours per biweekly pay period Monday-Friday, day shift Weekday and weekend call rotation Call shared among a team of 3 full-time and 2 part-time CRNAs
