Per Diem Physician Associate-EHC-13001-028

The provider evaluates and treats patients with medical and/or surgical problems under the supervision of a licensed physician, performing necessary examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests according to the scope of practice. This role also involves participation in teaching and quality assurance activities within the clinical department while delivering direct patient care.

Candidates must complete a NYS-approved Physician Assistant training program, typically requiring a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field, and hold a valid New York State license and registration as a Physician Assistant. Essential requirements include National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants certification, DEA registration, current Infection Control certificate, basic MS Office skills, and the physical dexterity and strength necessary for patient handling and equipment use.
