The Speech-Language Pathologist administers evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders and develops individualized treatment plans. They also monitor patient progress, provide therapeutic instruction, and ensure all clinical services meet regulatory and departmental standards.
Candidates must hold the appropriate education level and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is preferred, and Basic Life Support certification is required within 60 days of employment.
