Key Responsibilities
The Qualified Mental Health Professional provides comprehensive mental health care including intake assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. They also facilitate individual and group therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional environment.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess an active Illinois independent mental health license (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT). A minimum of two years of direct care experience with individuals with mental illness is preferred.
