Job description
Join UHS as a Social Worker – Part-Time Weekends, Inpatient Psych in Abbeville, Louisiana, United States. Responsibilities Social Worker- Part time weekends Horizon Health is seeking a social worker to join our team at Abbeville General Hospital in Abbeville, LA. This is a 16 bed inpatient psychiatric unit treating ages 18+.

Key Responsibilities
The social worker provides direct psychotherapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, and group or individual therapy for inpatient psychiatric patients. They also coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patients and their families.
Requirements
A Master's degree in social work and a valid state social work license are required for this position. Candidates must also possess CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications, along with experience in crisis prevention.
