About the Role

Join Penobscot Community Health Care as a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) - AUD Treatment in United States. The LADC provides directive service to outpatient programs for substance abuse disorders. They are responsible for the assessment, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients assigned to their caseload in accordance with the regulatory policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (starting and end time hours are flexible). What you will be doing:
  • Assesses patient circumstances and alcohol use, both current and past, by completing a comprehensive, recovery
  • oriented bio
  • social evaluation by collecting data which enables identification of potential therapeutic targets for active treatment in collaboration with the clients.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license from the State of Maine and possess required years of experience as a licensed clinician. A valid driver's license and current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification are also mandatory.
