Join National Heritage Academies as a School Social Worker – Virtual Academy, Remote in United States. School Information: Based in Michigan, PrepNet Virtual Academy opened in 2020 and serves students K-12 online. At PrepNet Virtual, you can connect passion with purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students, as well as monitor the students’ responses to the interventions identified.

Develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans, including providing support and consultation to general and special education teachers.

Complete psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of special education services.

Conduct functional behavior assessments and communicate the results to all team members in parent

Requirements

Hold a master's degree in social work.

Hold a valid social work license issued in the state you are applying for.

Candidates for positions in Michigan must have state approval as a school social worker.

Knowledge of special education processes and procedures is preferred.
