Job Description

Physical Therapist (PT)

Schedule: this is a 32 hour/week position that is eligible for full-time
benefits.

How you’ll contribute

A Physical Therapist (PT) who excels in this role:

* Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

* Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and
involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.

* Plans, prepares and carries out individually designed programs of physical
treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate
pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients. 

* Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques
and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.

* Administers treatment involving application of physical agents, using
equipment, moist packs, ultraviolet and infrared lamps, and ultrasound
machines.

* Evaluates, fits, and adjusts prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend
modifications.

* Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress and plans for
reevaluation.

What we’re looking for 

Applicants should have a current New Mexico Physical Therapist license and
possess a Bachelor's degree. Additional requirements include:

* Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist performs initial and ongoing patient assessments to establish and implement individualized treatment plans. They utilize standard therapy techniques and equipment to improve physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent dysfunction.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a current New Mexico Physical Therapist license and a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for this role.
