About the Role

Join Northwell as a Social Worker – Part-Time Hospital, Evening/Weekend Shifts in United States. FlexStaff is seeking Social Workers with various levels of experience to work for one of our clients, the largest city health system for their location in Queens, NY. This is a permanent, part-time job.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid psychosocial assessments for patients and families facing acute medical conditions, trauma, or end

• Provide crisis intervention, brief counseling, and emotional support to help patients and families cope with illness, injury, and complex medical decisions.

• Lead and coordinate comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring safe and timely transitions to post

• acute care, home, or other appropriate settings.

Requirements

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 5:00PM

• 8:30PM and Saturday 9:00AM

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $85K

• PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).
