Physician Assistant-Emergency Department

Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant provides direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care within the Emergency Department as part of an interdisciplinary team. They are responsible for performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, managing treatment plans, and educating patients and families throughout the care process.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and hold active state licensure and relevant certifications. While clinical experience in the specialty is preferred, it is not strictly required for this position.
