Job Description

The facility requires coverage at the Douglas location from December 28 to January 8.

Following this period, the schedule is still under consideration, but additional coverage needs are expected.

Key Changes to the Job Details Include

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM.

Guarantee

A commitment of 40 hours per week with no on-call duties.

Procedural Requirements for the Locum Include

  • Capability in both Regional and General Anesthesia; proficiency in spinal anesthetics is mandatory.
  • Experience in Orthopedics, Spine (including robotic procedures), General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Ophthalmology, Gastroenterology, and ENT is required.
  • While peripheral nerve blocks are advantageous, they are not a strict necessity, but the ability to perform spinal anesthetics is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia coverage at the Douglas facility, including both regional and general anesthesia. Manage patient care across various surgical specialties including orthopedics, spine, and general surgery.

Requirements

Must be proficient in spinal anesthetics and capable of performing regional and general anesthesia. Experience in multiple surgical specialties is required to support the facility's procedural needs.
