Intensive Outpatient Therapist (IOP)

Key Responsibilities

The therapist conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients on psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues, while actively participating in treatment planning and providing family counseling sessions. This role also involves communicating with clients, families, and referral sources, supporting utilization review functions, and completing all required patient paperwork accurately and timely.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a master's degree in social work or counseling, along with prior experience treating psychiatric and chemical dependency patients. A current unencumbered clinical license and CPR/CPI certification within 30 days of employment are mandatory requirements.
