Job Description
MVH is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to join the rehab team at our Scarborough facility.
The SLP evaluates and treats residents; communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other health team members; maintains documentation of services in the EMR; and conducts in-services and training for facility staff, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and MVH policies and procedures.
You would be joining a therapy team that is highly skilled and integrated throughout the facility.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited SLP program
- Possesses a minimum of a Master’s Degree in SLP
- Must have current State of Maine licensure as a SLP
- Experience in long-term care environment preferred
Key Responsibilities
The Speech Therapist evaluates and treats residents while maintaining accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Records system. They also collaborate with the interdisciplinary health team and provide training and in-services for facility staff.
