PRN Respiratory Therapist for Pediatric Hospital - Days & Nights!

Job Details: Job Location: HealthBridge Children's Hospital - Orange, CA, Position Type: Per Diem, Salary Range: $50.00 - $50.00Hourly, Job Shift: Any, Registered Respiratory Therapist (PRN) Per Diem | 8- or 12-hour shifts | Days and nights HealthBridge Children’s Hospital provides specialized post-acute and rehabilitation care for medically complex, technology-dependent children.

We are hiring PRN Registered Respiratory Therapists to support our cardiopulmonary team with ventilator care, weaning, tracheostomy management, and family-centered treatment planning.

What you will do Administer medical gases, humidification, medications, and aerosols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes Follow physician orders for cardiopulmonary medications and treatments Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient response Perform and interpret basic ABGs, pulmonary function testing, EKGs, and chest x-rays Provide patient and family education, including training for transition home Document treatments, labor, and clinical notes per facility, corporate, and regulatory standards Participate in care conferences, weekly rehab meetings, and discharge planning Coordinate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and the Director of Cardiopulmonary Represent the facility professionally with families, coworkers, and external partners Resolve concerns with families or team members in a professional, proactive manner Comply with California Respiratory Care Board standards and facility policies Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable setting and acuity Minimum 6 months mechanical ventilation experience Current AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS Must maintain all licenses and certifications in good standing Pediatric, trach, and ventilator experience is strongly preferred given our patient population.

Schedule PRN. Day and Night Shifts Available. 8- or 12-Hour Shifts.
