Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Navigator coordinates care for thoracic surgery patients and manages the daily operations of the low-dose screening CT program. They provide direct patient-facing nursing care, perform clinical triage, and facilitate communication between patients and the healthcare team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree or higher in Nursing and a valid District of Columbia Registered Nurse license. A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, with preference given to those with ambulatory or care coordination experience.
