Job Description

Performs prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and functions as a resource person to achieve therapeutic goals in the care of patient's cardiopulmonary dysfunctions. onsults with physicians and other health team members to determine treatment procedures and time schedules. Actively participates in in-service education, infection control and performance improvement programs.

Education

  • Associate's Degree Respiratory Care Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Care Preferred or
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience

3 years experience in Respiratory Care in a Specialty Care or Critical Care area Required

  • Licenses
  • PA Respiratory Care License Required
  • Reg Respiratory Therapist Required
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Preferred

Key Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to treat patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunctions. Collaborates with physicians and health team members to determine treatment procedures and schedules.

Requirements

Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care and at least 3 years of experience in Specialty or Critical Care. Must hold a PA Respiratory Care License, RRT certification, and BLS certification.
