About the Role

Join Arc Broward as a Counselor for Aftercare/Summer in United States. Counselor for Aftercare/Summer - Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Shifts available: 1: Aftercare and Summer Camp Counselor Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 6:00pm and 3:00pm - 6:00pm; must also be available to work summer schedule 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay Rate: $20.

Key Responsibilities

• provide top-notch training through our Arc Educates program.

• Provide assistance in all areas of self-care, hygiene and toileting.

• manage their behaviors through prevention strategies, implementation of individual behavior plans, de-escal.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with children (preferably children with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges)

• Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen

• Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).
