Delta View Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Assist patients in achieving their individualized rehabilitation goals.
  • Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
  • Promote patient safety during therapeutic activities, transfers, and mobility training.
  • Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies.

Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in accordance with applicable regulations and facility standards.

Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
