Key Responsibilities

  • Will Do: Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assessment/ Plan of Care/ Technical Skill: Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings Synthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care Initiates actions to meet patients/families' needs Takes actions to reduce patients risks Performs specialty specific technical procedures safely and proficiently Additional perks of being a Texas Health Nurse: · Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment programs as well as several other benefits.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited nursing program and a Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, along with current RN, APRN, and ACNP certifications. Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred, and required certifications include BCLS upon hire and ACLS within 90 days.
