Key Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist assesses patients to design and implement personalized therapy programs that improve functional, cognitive, and behavioral outcomes. They also document patient progress, provide education, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and specialists.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an appropriate education level and a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice. Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) is preferred, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of hire.
