Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing diagnostic psychiatric assessments, formulating treatment plans, administering medications including MAT for substance use disorders, and offering follow-up care. Key duties also involve responding to psychiatric crises and maintaining timely progress notes within the electronic health record.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners with experience treating children and adults in an outpatient mental health setting, possessing exceptional clinical skills in diagnosis and medication management. Familiarity with EHR documentation processes and a willingness to work a person-centered approach as part of a clinical team are also required.
