Job Description
Partnership Health an outpatient Family Practice in Somerset, NJ is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a Full time position.
Schedule: Mon/Tues/Thurs 8am to 6 pm and Wednesday 12 pm -6pm for a total of 36 hrs per week
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain following an injury or illness.
Duties
- Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to determine their physical therapy needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities
- Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to assist patients in regaining movement and strength
- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and techniques for continued improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid NJ state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Knowledge of physiology and acute care practices
- Strong communication skills and empathy for patient care
