• Schedule: 12‑hour shifts Mon - Fri and 8-hour shifts Sat - Sun; clinic hours are
• 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Mon - Fri and 8:00 AM - 4;00PM Sat - Sun, every other weekend

and occasional holidays are required

Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus

Position Summary

• We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA.
• This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful

community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care

You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships,

patient population and generally low‑acuity presentations that keep skills sharp

without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting

* Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits

* Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging

* Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as

applicable)

* Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

* Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR

* Code and bill services appropriately

* Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks

* Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

* Active, unrestricted Texas license

* Board certification or eligibility, as applicable

* PA: NCCPA certification

* NP: ANCC or AANP certification

* Active DEA license

* Ability to treat patients of all ages

* Active BLS certification

* EHR proficiency

* Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays

* DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (paid training and fees

covered)

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience

* Strong procedural skills (e. g., suturing, splinting, wound care)

* Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
