Key Responsibilities

Major responsibilities include performing patient assessments and reassessments to create effective treatment plans, and providing care in accordance with physician's orders while ensuring quality outcomes through interdisciplinary communication. The role also requires demonstrating knowledge of speech therapy modalities, operating equipment safely, and formulating patient teaching plans.

Requirements

Required qualifications include a Georgia license and American Speech/Language Association Certification, along with a minimum of a High School or GED Diploma and a Master's degree in Communication Disorders; CFY candidates will be considered. Candidates must possess good interpersonal, communication, and time management skills, along with the physical capacity to handle patient transfers, lift/carry supplies, and work in busy, noisy environments.
